EcoBike USA has created pages on the popular social networking sites Myspace and Facebook in order to reach younger audiences.  The move is part of a viral marketing strategy recently implemented to target a demographic that is often overlooked by the eco-transportation industry.

Facebook has registered more than 120 million users, and Myspace has nearly 110 million users.  The fastest growing demographic on social networking sites is users 25-years-old and older.

EcoBike’s Facebook and Myspace pages will allow the company to share news and events with the public.  EcoBike will reach out to both current and potential EcoBike riders and aims to stimulate an ongoing dialogue with electric bicycle enthusiasts.
